Hi, and welcome to Politics Warehouse.
I'm Mike Rouse, the man behind the site, and by way of an introduction I thought you might like to read about why this site exists and what I am hoping to do with it.
The biggest and most honest reason this site exists: profit. It doesn't need extreme profit margins, though that would be nice. It's main aim is to simply "wash its own face" in terms of making money. That is, it's got to make a few quid above what it costs me to run it.
So why even bother?
The main reason - profit aside - is to practice what I preach. I run a firm called Binary Beagle and we specialise in e-commerce. We help online retailers boost their earnings through on-site strategies, long-tail marketing solutions, and digital advertising.
This store, therefore, is where I come to demonstrate and practice those methods. But it's still a real store in its own right.
That's because I also need to see, understand and experience the whole end-to-end process that my clients go through. I need to package goods up and go through the hassle of getting them shipped, to give just one example.
So there you have it.
